Ann Arbor Makes History With Glue Trap Ban

Another city has said no to glue traps! Ann Arbor, MI has officially banned the use and sale of glue traps citywide following outreach from PETA, becoming the seventh U.S. city, and the first outside California, to outlaw these cruel devices! Glue traps indiscriminately ensnare small animals, including mice, rats, lizards, snakes, songbirds, owls, bats, chipmunks, squirrels, and many others, who suffer for hours or even days before dying from starvation, dehydration, asphyxiation, or blood loss. Ann Arbor’s compassionate new measure will spare countless animals from this horrific fate while setting a powerful precedent for communities across the country to follow!
