Ventura City Council Officially Adopted a Citywide Glue Trap Ban!

The City of Ventura, CA, has officially adopted a PETA-initiated citywide ban on the use and sale of glue traps, becoming the fourth city, and the largest city, in the U.S. to ban these cruel, indiscriminate traps! Glue traps catch and kill mice, rats, lizards, snakes, songbirds, owls, bats, chipmunks, squirrels, and many other animals, leaving them to suffer an excruciating and prolonged death from starvation, dehydration, asphyxiation, or blood loss. Ventura’s ban will protect animals in the city from being trapped and killed by these torture devices, and it sets a compassionate example for other cities to follow!
