After meeting with PETA and years of working behind the scenes with the company’s executives and submitting shareholder questions and resolutions, Lowe’s Companies Inc. has banned the sale of glue traps on its website! This decision will spare countless small animals from the agony of being caught on sticky boards, where they may suffer broken bones, torn flesh, or even attempt to chew off their own limbs in desperation. Ending online sales of glue traps is a great first step, and we will keep pushing the company to ban them from their shelves, too.
