In the wake of HBO Max’s Chimp Crazy and escalating pressure from PETA, Tiger King villain Mario Tabraue surrendered Limbani the chimpanzee—who was kept in solitary confinement for eight years, to the Save the Chimps sanctuary. Limbani was the 25th chimpanzee PETA has helped to rescue, including by making a donation toward his lifetime care.
