Hundreds of Animals Rescued From West Coast Game Park

Following numerous complaints filed by PETA over rampant violations of animal welfare laws at West Coast Game Park Safari, a roadside zoo in Bandon, Oregon, law enforcement officials executed multiple search warrants and removed over 300 animals from the decrepit facility, who were transferred to reputable and accredited facilities, including George, the last solitary chimpanzee in a U.S. roadside zoo. Owner Brian Tenney was arrested on over 370 counts, including 1st degree felony animal neglect leading to the death or serious injury of at least 6 animals and 2nd degree felony animal neglect of 316 animals.
