PETA Tells MTV to Skip the Puppies on the Red Carpet

With so many celebrities pushing the fashion envelope on the red carpet, was it really necessary to dress puppies for a sight gag and put them at risk of overheating in uncomfortable, restrictive costumes? It’s pretty unimaginative. PETA hopes that MTV will stick to animal-free red-carpet stunts in the future—or if MTV has to involve puppies, we might suggest showing photos and videos of adoptable, homeless animals whom viewers can take action to help.
