Sounds very simple just eat veggies. What will you do with the millions of folks employed in the farming& ranching business not to mention the meat industry , plus restaurant and food industry. The idea of significant numbers of people going vegan in the world is insignificant. Even in Asia and lower income countries meat and fish is in the diet, although at lower rates. Reducing meat consumption might help in reducing obesity although sedentary life styles probably has more to do with it than anything. Getting rid of dairy products will never happen, that is totally unrealistic, cheese is enjoyed by everyone.
I feel so bad for the animals killed in factory farms just so another fat dude can eat McDonald's!
THE FRIGG????????
The simple act of choosing a healthier life style, a person can make the planet a healthier place to live. A vegan lives longer, consumes less petroleum, water, and space.
I wish people were more aware of how good for the environment Veganism is. It is sad that over 3 BILLION people in the world have no access to clean safe water. Half of our population! The worlds resources are distributed so unfairly and unethically!
Back in the day when I was teaching school children how to handmilk cows, I would tell them how the average milk cow needed to drink about 30 gallons of water a day to produce milk. Now imagine every milk cow in every dairy in the United States drinking 30 gallons each a day....start those calculators!!
