Peet’s Winter Menu Has Seasonal Vegan Beverages
Peet’s Coffee is starting 2026 off with two new vegan pistachio beverages! Both the Pistachio Rose Latte and Pistachio Matcha use creamy Táche pistachio milk instead of milk stolen from cows.
Cows are excellent mothers and only produce milk to feed their babies. In the dairy industry, workers repeatedly forcibly impregnate cows, take away their calves (often within hours of birth), and steal their milk for human consumption.
Beyond the cruelty to animals, the dairy industry is a leading producer of the greenhouse gases fueling the climate catastrophe. Offering vegan milk at no extra cost makes it easier for people to make choices that are better for our fellow animals and the Earth we share.
Almost all of the drinks sold at Peet’s can easily be “veganized.” Just steer clear of:
- Caramel and White Chocolate flavored items, as the sauce contains cow’s milk
- Protein Shakes, which contain dairy
- Havana Cappuccino and Black Ties, which are made with condensed milk.
