6.08.012 – License required; anti-rabies vaccine required.

1. Every person who lives within the Town of Monument and who owns one or more dogs which are more than four months old, except those persons to whom a valid pet shop or boarding kennel license has been issued by appropriate officials of the State of Colorado pursuant to 2002 C.R.S. § 25-4-702, shall obtain a license for each dog.

6.08.014 – License fees.

1. Upon filing and acceptance by the Designated Agent of the Board of an application for a dog license, applicant shall pay a license fee as indicated below:

3. Licenses for spayed female or neutered male dogs shall only be issued upon presentation of a certificate signed by a veterinarian stating that the dog has been spayed or neutered.
