Companies Are Selling Boiled Donkey Skin as ‘Medicine’

Donkeys are struck on the head with a sledgehammer so that their skins can be boiled down to make gelatin for a traditional “medicine” called ejiao. Help us end this. The stores below are still selling products containing this cruelly obtained ingredient. Let them know that profiting from animal abuse is not OK.

  1. Contact Evergreen Herbs on social media. Tell the company that ejiao is cruel and pointless.
  2. Text MEDICINE to 73822 to send an e-mail to Mayway Corporation.
  3. Call Treasure of the East at 607-275-9700, and ask to speak to Mr. Chao Zhang. Let him know that donkeys are suffering greatly for the cruelly obtained product, and ask him to stop selling it.After your call, please let us know how it went.
