Washington County, Oregon, Exotic-Animal Ban

Oregon’s Washington County Board of Commissioners voted to pass an ordinance prohibiting people from keeping exotic animals as well as direct contact between these animals and members of the public within the county. PETA submitted written comments supporting the ordinance and arranged for members and supporters to speak at meetings about it.
