Walmart Store Removes Glue Traps

August 2011

A staffer then paraded around the store with the trapped animal and proceeded to kick the bird and the trap across the floor. Other staff members came to the bird’s rescue, safely freeing him. Animal control and PETA worked with Walmart, and the glue traps have been removed and are reportedly now banned at this location.
