After learning from PETA that donkeys are confined to filthy concrete pens, beaten with sticks, and struck on the head with a sledgehammer so that their skins can be boiled down to make gelatin for a traditional Chinese “medicine” called ejiao, acupuncture-supply company Wabbo has committed to banning the sale of any products containing the cruelly obtained ingredient. By doing so, Wabbo is sparing the lives of countless donkeys and setting an example of compassion for other purveyors and practitioners to follow.
