Victory! Jordan World Circus Drops Elephant Acts

Following over 600,000 messages sent by PETA supporters, dozens of demonstrations at venues hosting the circus, and a barrage of public support for Viola the elephant, Jordan World Circus stopped using elephants. Jordan World had been using elephants supplied by Carson & Barnes Circus, including Viola, who has been hauled across the country in circus acts for over 50 years and has tried to flee her abusers at least four times. PETA will keep working until Jordan World is animal-free and Carson & Barnes relinquishes Viola and other elephants to an accredited sanctuary.
