University Stops Giving Animals as ‘Welcoming Presents’!

We contacted administrators of Residence Life at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, after learning that betta fish were given to incoming freshman as “welcoming presents,” and we have confirmed that this cruel practice has been discontinued!
