Universal Studios Hollywood announced it would be closing its long-running “Animal Actors” show. The animals had been supplied for decades by PETA investigation subject Birds & Animals Unlimited. The closure illustrates that audiences don’t want to see animals perform senseless tricks for noisy crowds.
