Unilever Joins ‘Eat Without Experiments’ Program

Unilever, maker of food brands including Knorr, Hellman’s, and Horlicks, has signed on to PETA’s Eat Without Experiments program, banning all experiments on animals for its food products and brands, and other areas covered by the program. Separately, Unilever continues to participate in PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies program for its cosmetics and household products under the “Working for Regulatory Change” category to reduce the number of animals used for testing. A number of its brands, including Dove and TRESemmé, are cruelty-free.
