Grocery Operator The Save Mart Companies to Stop Selling Live Lobsters

Grocery operator The Save Mart Companies—which owns the Save Mart, Lucky, Lucky California, FoodMaxx, S-Mart, and MaxxValue store brands—has agreed to end its sale of live lobsters after hearing from PETA that these animals are kept in cramped, barren tanks and killed by being cut up or boiled alive, often taking minutes to die.
