Student Government Association at University of North Carolina–Pembroke Stops Giving Live Fish Away as Prizes!

PETA contacted the University of North Carolina–Pembroke after learning that the Student Government Association’s (SGA) carnival was giving live fish away as prizes and that one fish was reportedly swallowed while still alive. In response, the SGA is compassionately drafting a policy that will ban the use of any live animals as prizes (on or off campus).
