Strides Made in Robeson County, North Carolina, Shelter

January 2004

PETA has been making efforts for years to improve conditions for animals in the Robeson County Animal Shelter. A new shelter has been built and more humane euthanasia standards are in place. We trained the staff on humane sheltering methods and brought back this beautiful girl named Bea, who is now thriving in a loving home in Virginia.
