SeaQuest in New Jersey Fined Following Complaints From PETA

Following complaints submitted by PETA, NJ Fish & Wildlife—a division of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection—sent SeaQuest Woodbridge a 32-page notice of violations, listing dozens of examples of animals who were diseased, injured, or mistreated. The agency ordered SeaQuest to immediately change its practices, including ceasing all unauthorized interactions, and pay a $2,500 penalty or risk substantial fines and loss of its permits and animals.
