Polo Ralph Lauren Bans Fur

April 2007

In a landmark victory for animals killed for their skins, fashion house Polo Ralph Lauren dropped all fur from its clothing lines shortly after meeting with PETA.

According to the company’s news release, “[W]e feel that the time is right to take this action.” On behalf of the millions of foxes, raccoons, and other animals who suffer and die each year in the fur industry, PETA couldn’t agree more!
