Following a PETA action alert and protests targeting the company, which resulted in thousands of e-mails to the company’s executives, PetSmart has announced that it will no longer sell rabbits in its stores! Considering that thousands of rabbits are abandoned to die in animal shelters every year, this is big news for bunnies–and for people who care about their well-being.
