Thanks in part to funding provided by PETA Science Consortium International e.V., biology students at Technische Universität Berlin ditched fetal bovine serum and antibodies bled from animals in favor of cutting-edge, cruelty-free science. The team running this laboratory has published a paper that will help other universities adopt this graduate-level course, enabling even more students to practice animal-free research.
