PETA Rescues 22 Animals From Roadside Zoo ‘Wildlife in Need’

PETA rescued 22 tigers, lions, and tiger/lion hybrids from Tim Stark and his Indiana roadside zoo, Wildlife in Need, after our successful Endangered Species Act lawsuit against him and the facility. The rescue went smoothly—U.S. Marshals provided security for the transfer after Stark posted specific threats to Facebook. The animals are now living happily at The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado and Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge in Arkansas.
