Paul Mitchell Pulls Out of China Over Animal Testing Requirements!

After hair-care giant Paul Mitchell Systems was notified that it might have to pay for animal tests in order to continue to sell its products in China, PETA urged the company to maintain its cruelty-free policy. After our extensive discussions with Paul Mitchell Systems, this longtime member of PETA’s Caring Consumer project announced that it would rather pull out of the Chinese market entirely than hurt even one animal. For standing behind its principles and remaining 100 percent cruelty-free, Paul Mitchell Systems received PETA’s Courage in Commerce Award.
