North Carolina Wildlife Abusers Charged

After being alerted to two YouTube videos in which a live skunk flailed after being struck with a paddle and a live opossum was dangled by the tail, smacked against the railing of a deck, and tossed into a yard, we were able to identify the abuser as well as the person who did the filming, and we sent the videos and identifying information to local authorities. After a thorough investigation by law enforcement, we confirmed that both individuals received citations for mistreating animals.
