Fish Experiments Halted at Indiana High School

October 2011

After hearing from a concerned student about experiments at an Indiana high school in which live fish were poisoned with insulin and sugar overdoses and then died, PETA immediately contacted the high school with information on humane alternatives to the animal laboratories. After diligently following up with school district personnel, PETA received confirmation from the superintendent that the experiments had been ended. PETA also offered to donate educational software to the high school to replace the animal laboratories.
