European Union Implements Long-Awaited Sales Ban on Animal-Tested Cosmetics

After much effort by PETA U.S. and PETA U.K. to ensure that the 2013 EU ban on cosmetics tested on animals was implemented without delay, it went into effect, as planned, on March 11. The ban stipulates that no cosmetics products from anywhere in the world that have been tested on animals can be sold in the EU.
