Dream Hotel Group Will No Longer Source Down

After hearing from PETA, Dream Hotel Group, which owns nine luxury hotels around the world—including in Nashville, Tennessee, and Bangkok—will no longer source down for its bedding. This decision will prevent countless birds’ throats from being slit and the animals from being dumped into scalding-hot defeathering tanks, often while still conscious. This also means that animal-loving and allergy-suffering travelers alike will soon be able to rest easy at all of Dream Hotel Group’s stylish boutique hotels—knowing that no birds were killed for the comforters and pillows in their rooms. Please urge RH (formerly Restoration Hardware) to stop selling down inserts for its decorative pillow covers.
