CruiseExperts Travel Pulls All Dogsledding Activities Following Talks With PETA

After hearing from PETA that dogs used in sled racing spend most of their lives chained to plastic barrels or in factory farm–style pens, CruiseExperts Travel—an excursion company that operates Alaska Shore Experts—removed all dogsledding activities from its offerings. CruiseExperts joins Jack Daniel’s, State Farm, Wells Fargo, and many others in ending its support for the dogsledding industry. The Iditarod race has caused the deaths of more than 150 dogs since it began, and countless others have been killed simply because they weren’t fast or fit enough to race. Please urge Chrysler to be the next to cut ties with the deadly Iditarod.
