After discussions with PETA, the Columbia Sportswear Company—one of the largest outdoor and active-lifestyle apparel and footwear companies in the world—has banned alpaca fleece across its brands! It joins UNIQLO, Overstock, Valentino, Marks & Spencer, Maison Numen, Smith & Caughey’s, and ESPRIT in banning alpaca. We’re urging everyone to take action for alpacas right now by encouraging brands that continue to sell alpaca fleece (including Anthropologie) to stop.
