Following talks with PETA, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf introduced a new line of vegan snacks, including Lenny & Larry’s chocolate chip cookies, two varieties of ENLIGHTENED Roasted Broad Bean Crisps (Sriracha and Sea Salt), Sabra hummus with pretzels, Justin’s Chocolate Hazelnut Butter + Pretzels and Classic Almond Butter + Pretzels, three kinds of Vigilant Eats SUPERFOOD CEREAL (Coconut Maple Vanilla, Goji Cacao, and Espresso Maca Mulberry), Seneca Apple Chips, and Organic Candy Factory Mixed Berry Gummy Cubs. In addition, the company removed honey from its bagels sold at corporate-owned stores, meaning that all bagels sold in these stores—except the cheese jalapeño variety—are now vegan. (Franchise locations will vary.)
