City’s Bird Poisoning Attempts Forestalled

PETA sent an open letter to the city of Hannibal asking officials to cancel plans to poison birds. They did not respond, so we sent an e-mail alert to all our Missouri members asking them to join the fight. The bad publicity that was generated caused the two contractors who were going to poison the birds to pull out of the situation.
