Brooks Hill Fair Cancels Greased Pig Chase

When PETA learned about a greased pig chase scheduled to take place at the Brooks Hill Fair in West Virginia, we immediately contacted the fair’s organizers. After placing an op-ed in the local paper and writing a letter to the organizers explaining how no matter what, the stressed, terrified pigs would be the losers, county commissioners decided to cancel the event and agreed not to hold any greased pig chases at future fairs.
