Boston Symphony Orchestra Changes Its Tune on Foie Gras

After receiving letters from PETA describing the cruelty of foie gras production and posting an action alert on our Web site, the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO), in Massachusetts, promised to cancel plans to serve the duck liver at its first annual Wine and Food Classic. The BSO also dumped D’Artagnan, Inc., one of North America’s leading purveyors of foie gras, as a sponsor and exhibitor at the event.
