Amgen confirms no more forced swim tests! This follows PETA scientists’ outreach to the biopharmaceutical company to urge it to enact a policy prohibiting the use, commission, or funding of the tests, in which small animals are often dosed with a test substance, dropped into inescapable beakers of water, and made to swim for their lives. We applaud Amgen’s position on this cruel and unnecessary test.
