American Red Cross Bans Leather Gloves After PETA Push

After discussions with PETA, the American Red Cross, which reaches an average of more than 100 million people around the globe each year, has agreed to switch to using vegan gloves in its kits and will remove all leather glove references from its messaging, including on its website. Urge Levi’s and other brands to ban leather, too.
