Having been informed that American Airlines was serving foie gras on some of its international flights, PETA contacted the major U.S. airline asking that it immediately discontinue these sales. Shortly thereafter, American Airlines informed PETA that it would sell out existing inventory and then remove the product from menu offerings, which it has now done.
