AliExpress Bans Glue Traps in the U.S. & EU and Alibaba Bans Fur in the U.S.

After discussions with PETA, Alibaba.com banned the sale of fur in the U.S., and AliExpress banned the sale of glue traps on its EU and U.S. websites! These decisions came after they learned from PETA that animals in the fur industry endure a lifetime of suffering in tiny, wire cages before being violently killed, and glue traps indiscriminately immobilize small animals and cause slow, agonizing deaths. Both are part of Alibaba Group—one of the world’s largest e-commerce companies—and join hundreds of retailers that have already banned fur or glue traps.
