Alabama School District Adopts New Dissection Choice Policy

Following discussions with PETA, the fourth largest public school district in Alabama—Baldwin County Public Schools, which serves almost 29,000 students—adopted a progressive dissection-choice policy allowing compassionate students to choose a humane science lesson instead of being forced to dissect animals. Baldwin joins hundreds of districts nationwide that have implemented similar policies.
