Sportswear Company Bans Fur

After meeting with PETA, outerwear company Amundsen Sports banned fur! We’re delighted that it’s joining the hundreds of designers and retailers—including Columbia, Fjällräven, Patagonia, and REI—that sell only faux fur. This compassionate decision will prevent countless gentle animals from being caught in painful traps that slam down on their limbs—often breaking bones—before trappers return to bludgeon or shoot them to death. Despite this gruesome cruelty, some companies continue to sell fur. Please urge Canada Goose to go fur-free.
