Senior-Living Company Cancels Planned Valentine’s Day Monkey Act

After hearing from PETA and our members and supporters, Juniper Village at Mount Joy has canceled a cruel act featuring a monkey named Django that had been scheduled for Valentine’s Day. The company has also pledged to keep such archaic acts off its community calendars! This victory for Django comes just one month after a Christmas event in Chestertown, Maryland, decided not to host this act. PETA is calling on everyone to help animals like Django by avoiding any events that use animals.
