PETA Donates Trauma Training Simulators, Saving Animals’ Lives

More than 120 animals in Iraq and Sudan will no longer be cut apart and killed in medical training courses each year, thanks to PETA’s donation of four state-of-the-art TraumaMan surgical simulators, worth $100,000. This brings the total number of countries that have ended the use of live dogs, pigs, goats, and sheep for crude medical training to 22, following our donations of 119 TraumaMan simulators, worth nearly $3 million, since 2012.
