Doc Antle Sentenced to Federal Prison

Tiger King villain and Myrtle Beach Safari operator Bhagavan “Doc” Antle was sentenced to one year and a day in federal prison for conspiracy to violate the Lacey Act and conspiracy to launder money. Antle was also ordered to pay a $55,000 fine; he must turn over custody of the three youngest chimpanzees who have been exploited for photo ops to the government, which will place them at an accredited sanctuary; and he will face three years of supervised release.
