Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Bans Fur From Retail Stores

After hearing from PETA that animals are electrocuted, suffocated, and even skinned alive in the fur industry, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts—which operates more than 70 luxury properties worldwide—has banned the sale of fur in Fairmont-managed retail stores. Fairmont Hotels & Resorts joins hundreds of top designers, brands, and retailers that have banned fur, including Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s, and Versace.
