After hearing from PETA, Kravet Inc.—a home furnishings leader in the interior design trade—banned cashmere! The company made this compassionate decision, which applies to its brands Brunschwig & Fils, Donghia, GP & J Baker, Kravet, and Lee Jofa, after learning that goats scream as workers pin them down by their legs and horns and violently pull their hair out. Kravet joined Columbia Sportswear Company, Journeys, The North Face, Victoria’s Secret, and dozens of other companies that have dropped cashmere.
