17 Festival Looks From Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, and Free People

Published by PETA Staff.

Urban Outfitters, Inc.—the umbrella company that owns Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, Terrain, and BHLDN (Anthropologie’s wedding brand)—has joined the more than 100 brands that have banned angora wool, which is often obtained by yanking out live rabbits’ hair. To celebrate this fantastic victory, we want to share our favorite items from these stores that will add flair to your spring (aka “festival”!) wardrobe.

1. Urban Outfitters Ecote Mixed Stitch Crochet Fringe Cardigan

Picture yourself at a music festival—you’re sweating and dancing during the day, but when the sun sets, that wind chill picks up. You’ll need this cute angora-free sweater to keep you warm so that you can enjoy the bands that play at night.

2. Urban Outfitters Kimchi Blue Cindy Ladder Lace Midi Dress

Floral patterns are popping up everywhere at this time of year. We love sunny, flowy dresses for music festivals, and this one’s pretty as a picture. (It’s also available in baby blue.)

3. Urban Outfitters Teva Flatform Sandal

Remember Teva from the ’90s? The iconic sandals have been modernized, and this pair features a platform heel to make it easier to find your friends at crowded festivals. Most importantly, there’s no leather in their construction, which makes them cute and compassionate.

4. Terrain Bunny & Bloom Tea Towel

Having a towel or handkerchief handy is essential at festivals, as you’ll probably need to mop your brow after all that walking and dancing. You can also use this cute bunny-print towel as a bandanna or tie it to a stick and wave it like a flag over the crowd when you need to find friends.

5. Free People First Kiss Dress

Add a pop of color to your wardrobe with this graphic print dress, available in four different patterns. You can pair it with a broad-brimmed hat for the perfect boho look.

7. Terrain Cotton Garden Bandana

Neckerchiefs are on trend right now, but on a more practical level, festivals can get dusty, so you might want to wear one across your mouth when the dust kicks up.

Lace is a delicate feminine texture for spring—and shift dresses flatter all body types.
