Imagine spending months—or even years—in a dark, barren cage, during which your only interaction with people is when you are tormented in experiments. This is the defeated life that millions of animals are currently living in laboratories across the U.S. Watch now to see the faces of animal research and then share this powerful video with your Facebook friends.

Send an e-mail to your Congressional representatives and respectfully urge them to divert public money from cruel animal experiments into non-animal research. Please also consider joining PETA's Investigations & Rescue Fund, which supports our groundbreaking undercover and rescue work.
Is this article like serious? We should 'test on humans'? You want to volunteer to test some kind of cancer fighting drug to save the life of a pound dog that will eventually be euthanized? Be my guest.
The human race is the most disgusting, the most hypocritical, the most violent and hateful of all beings on this planet. We will al get whats coming to us, and I for one will be very happy because of it. We have slaughtered and put into extinction millions of INNOCENT animals for enjoyment, for sport, or just to feed our obese appetites. Thousands and thousands of countries have Grocery stores and farms that kill animals for food already. WHY IS THERE STILL SLAUGHTERING OF MANY ANIMALS, or supposedly "Medical experimentions" going on, on animals? These SADISTIC experimants are for HUMAN diseases, NOT ANIMAL diseases. Lets take all the Rapists, Serial killers, and criminals and use them for test subjects, afterall they are HUMANS, and will be tested on with HUMAN medicines, STOP THIS SICK STUFF. STOP the hunting, STOP animal ABUSe. I am so sick of seeing INNOCENT animals being viciously wiped out by us. WE deserve every thing thats coming to us.
John who commented on 11-10-2011 4:52 PM i dont support testing things on prisoners but i have to say i am amazed by a biomedical engineer who confuses modern day prisons and concentration camps.
