Selection of the Finalists

Ten finalists will be selected by a PETA panel, who will give three factors equal consideration:

• The inspirational quality of your description of your mutt and how moved we are by it
• PETA’s assessment of the cuteness of your mutt’s photo
• Your potential to reach a large audience if ultimately chosen as the winner

Finalists will be announced on PETA.org on October 19.

Voting for the Finalists

Finalists will be featured on PETA.org on October 19. At this time, public voting will open. But remember: Public votes are just one category used to determine a winner. Public voting will end on October 28.

• PETA’s assessment of the cuteness of your mutt’s photo

The Cutest Mutt Alive will be announced on PETA.org on November 5.
